Happy Friday !

We atttended a birthday party .. at SAFRA Toa Payoh - they have an kiddy indoor playground .. the girls had an awesome time .. even Emily!! She was initally frightened to go into the indoor play area .. but soon warmed up and was playing in the ball pit happily with Claudia and Lauren and a few other friends ...

It was dear Shane's birthday ... he turned 8 .. gosh, time does fly by .. we were all in the States together ... and Shane was 2 back then and Claudia was 3 ... good times !! ..

Check out the cool-looking cake he had ... hahahah .. his mom thought it'd be funny to add in the ERP gantry ... well, it was !! ... so cute !!

Swimming on Sunday ...

Darn it's been extra hot these past few days ... we decided to take the girls down to the pool for a swim on Sunday ... here are some pics ..

At East Coast Park Hawker Centre for dinner ...

It's so hard to get a photo of Emily looking directly at the camera .. cos she can be a pain when she knows you want to snap a photo of her ... she just won't LOOK at you no matter what you say ... SIGH.

We had dinner at East Coast Park on Saturday nite .. gosh, it was crowded and getting a carpark lot was hellish ...

And they still want another 2 million people added to our population? .. HUH.

I never realized that there was a little mini playground at KKH near the Children's Tower ... Lauren begged me to have a go on it and since we were early .. (appt didn't take long) .. I let them play for a while ...

Moonlight Fantasy at Claudia's school ...

Here is Emily in her Quinny Buzz ... I really love it .. it's huge, chunky and a pain to store in your car .. cos it really takes up so much space .. especially the seat ... BUT I LURVE IT ... it's so manouverable and the suspension makes pushing it a breeze .. definitely a jogging type of stroller (not that I'm ever going to go jogging AT ALL with or without it .. lol)



We walked to Claudia's school .. it was a short walk .. but being 7 months along .. after a hearty dinner ... my bladder felt like bursting ... bugger baby must be pressing down on it ... lol! Plus, it was so hot and humid .. hardly a breeze .. we were perspiring buckets ... damn Singapore ...

We were in the computer room this afternoon ... accompanying Lauren who loves surfing the Disney website and trying out the games and activities online ... the girls had just had their baths and lunch ... and so we were sitting in cool air-conditioned comfort .. I was reading to Emily while Lauren was busy on my computer ...

We were so late getting there that I decided to just have lunch at Mcdonald's .. Emily was asleep the whole time we were there .. so it's was like having only 2 kids with me at the time ... lol :)

On Monday, the girls and I went to watch Wall-E .. I was quite surprised .. the movie was GOOD :) much better than KungFu Panda I thought ...
