At the pool yesterday ...

Calista seemed fascinated with the water ...



She was content to sit in her stroller and watch her sisters splashing around.

Of course, after an hour or so, the little missy fell asleep :p

It's cereal time !!

Calista is 6 months old today .. so I finally decided to start her on cereal. Of course, I went down to Kiddy Palace yesterday to get her a new feeding set. Yes, these things help .. well, they help me. I chucked out Emily's feeding set and bought a nice new Pigeon set .. a green bowl and a red and white spoon .. not too ex about $17 I think. And since I was there .. I also bought a few other things .. so from $17 .. my total became about $80 I think. lol :)

So I gave her some organic barley cereal .. and instead of pumping out breastmilk, I used formula .. I'm sure it tastes nicer than breastmilk. LOL :)

Calista seemed to enjoy it and ate a few teaspoons ..

Here she is after her meal .. she looks annoyed cos I had just wiped her icky face down with wet wipes.

Calista turns 6 months old on the 30th!!

And yes, as u can see, I've brought out the high chair in anticipation of her first meal. I went to Kiddy Palace today and bought her baby utensils .. and yes, also that Leapfrog toy u see in the photo above .. I couldn't help it .. it's too cute for words. I've been wanting to get it for her for months .. :)

One born in 1999 and the other, 2008. Almost 10 years apart. Heh, don't they look adorable together?
p.s. I didn't buy that BLUE Disney sleepsuit btw .. it was Daddy. He bought it in the States during one of his trips. It's really cute though ..

With a cheeky face like that ...

Went to Kinderland yesterday to meet with Lauren's teacher. Well, look at her face ... her teacher said that she is playful and talkative and she's doing well in school ... *phew*

At the car audio shop ...

Lol. Yes, the Selva family does everything together .. so when we went down to some industrial estate to the car audio shop, EVERYONE except the maid who was cooking dinner at home, went .. Lauren was a happy chicky with her cold canned Milo from the vending machine outside the workshop .. and yes, as you can see in the background, the unit next door was a bike workshop ...



I still don't get how this car seat is supposed to last till the child is a year old. Calista is a week away from being 6 months old and she is already almost 8 kg ... does she look like she can fit comfortably in there for another 6 months?!!



See the cheeky little face ... I was kinda disappointed for Lauren than Calista turned out to have straight/wavy hair like her other 2 sisters ... so my dear darling Lauren is the ONLY one with my curly and very thick hair ... I'm so sorry, baby ... !! We can do rebonding when you're a teenager, ok ?!!!

Just like our car ...

After a year and a half, just like with our car, I decided that the Little Tikes Jr Easy Store table that we had was getting too small ... after all, once Calista starts walking .. there'll be 3 little girls at that teeny table ... yes, it's meant for 4 kids .. I seriously dunno whose 4 kids can sit there though .. little munchkins?!! lol.



So here they are at their new table .. also an Easy Store table but the full sized one. Isn't it just lovely?

And now of course, I have to get rid of my coffee table.

Calista is now 5 months 3 weeks old ... and she weighs 7.9 kg ... even more of a reason NOT to carry her but let her sit in her Maxi Cosi carseat in her Quinny Buzz frame ... no way am I carrying such a load. LOL !!

She's a happy baby .. hardly cries unless she's hungry or tired. And she loves looking at her sisters playing .. I bet she's wishing for the time she can join in the fun ..

I have yet to start her on solids .. yes, I am a lazy mommy ... waiting for her to turn 6 months then I will get my butt moving.

Emily likes tinkering around with her camera. It's a Little Tikes kiddy digital camera. Good for little hands to hold but the button to take the pic is kinda tough to reach ..cos it's in the front - it's the silver one u see in the above pic. Kinda dumb right?

Ah yes, my really vain daughter ... see her sparkly slip ons? It's still too big for her yet she insists on wearing it.

Calista commando crawls at 5.5 months old ...

Shucks, I am running out of places to dump the little baby in. She cannot sit in her bouncer or rocker or swing anymore cos she keeps trying to sit up. And I just discovered she cannot sit in her Bumbo seat too cos she can wriggle her way out of it - I nearly had a heart attack seeing her.

So I'm left with the walker. Bummer, man.

And now I also witnessed the little aunty commando crawling on my bed ... darn, now I really really cannot leave her unattended ANYWHERE. Not even for 2 secs ! .. I watched her "crawl" to my phone in just a few secs .. one minute she was safely in the centre of my king sized bed .. the next, she was near the edge.

FINALLY ... it's walker time ..

I went out and bought Calista a walker yesterday cos the little girl absolutely refuses to lie back in her swing, rocker and bouncer .. she tries to sit up so she ends up leaning to one side akwardly.

All of my girls did the walker thing and it did not impede their walking ... in fact, Lauren walked at 10 months and Emily at 9.

Calista is super happy that she gets to sit upright and move around ..

My girls and I bade a sad farewell to our maid of 3 years. She left for Indonesia on Sunday. We sent her to the airport for the 3rd time last nite after dinner (she has gone home every year for a holiday while she was with us). It was a tearful goodbye for me cos she has been my faithful right hand man and my girls love her dearly. Our new maid is the one standing next to Claudia. She sure has big shoes to fill.
